I hate my job. I hate my bosses. I hate my co-workers. I hate the building I am in. *sigh*
The other woman in the office went on a cruise...she left today, so I'm covering her desk, along with doing all of my work! It's a pain in the butt! However, I do have to wonder why she is always so busy. I mean, I'm having a hard time keeping up, but I already do the work of two people. This is all she does and it's more an annoyance than anything else.
I haven't been sleeping very well at all lately. I seem to spend most nights just staring at the ceiling and then the drive to and from work is killing me. I have to chew gum both ways to stay awake and even that isn't always working anymore. :( I should be thrilled about the weekend, but I'm not. :( Tonight, after Jr. gets home, I have to take Pookie shopping for presents for tomorrow. She was invited to two birthday parties at the same time. One for a girl in her dance class and one for a girl in her preschool. We are only going to the party for the girl in her dance class (we RSVP'd for that one before we even knew about the other), but we are taking the other little girl out for dinner after her party, so that's gifts for each of them. Pookie also needs new tap shoes. *sigh* Such a waste, since after June 5th, that's pretty much it for her and tap...next year she is taking strictly ballet because they feel she is too advanced to stay in the class she is in this year (which does tap and ballet). Why is it when you find out your child is advanced, there is always bad news associated with it? Pookie is so smart, but she's emotionally stunted and not ready for kindergarden next year. *sigh* She's also four days past the cut-off date (and her cousin is the day before and will be starting *sigh*). Now she is too advanced for Creative Movement, which would mean if she wants to take tap and ballet, it's two separate classes and a lot more money. *sigh* So we made her choose. She chose ballet. *sigh* She would pick the one I find incredibly dull. *sigh* Oh well, that's my girl and whatever she does, I support her.
Boo is the same. She still has a horribly runny nose. Just dreadful and she hates to have it wiped which makes things so much harder. :( She is spending a lot of time saying "da da" "doe" and "no". *sigh* She just laughs when I say "Say Mama". *sigh*
Well, that be it for me for now. *sigh* I will talk to you all soon! At least today is payday and I plan on getting a few more adoptions for my adoption shoppe.
