Okay...someone should have yelled at me! It's been nearly a month since I've written in here! Of course, it's not my fault. I've been taken captive! Honest...I have...I have been taken captive by a new web forum...it's called The Pixel Mall. Now, don't click that link unless you are prepared to be sucked in and to never escape! So, that's what I've mostly been up to. I will be putting up a page soon of the stuff I have "purchased" there shortly. Just need to get away from there long enough

On top of this, Pookie's dance recital was this past weekend, so we started pictures and rehersals and the performances and we've been living out of my car! *sigh* She did wonderfully though! She really does have some talent! I know I'm biased, but I heard complete strangers saying great things about "the little girl in the middle" which is where she stood...so I'm bursting with pride! :) However, she threw a full-blown diva fit during intermission Saturday all because they wouldn't give her two pink glo-sticks for the finale (she had a pink and an orange). She must have gotten over it though because she was great in the finale...until she dropped the orange glo-stick. You could see it on her face...gasps from all over the audience and held breath as she started to work herself into a scream! Luckily, a young girl who knew Pookie dove for the glo-stick and returned it to her and gave her a hug...that made it allll better! :) Then we went out to eat afterwards and Pookie was really mean to the waitress becasue it was taking forever for her to get her hot dog. Poor kid.

Now that craziness is over and a new brand of craziness begins. *sigh* Boo's first birthday is Friday and her party is Saturday! We have 35 people confirmed to be coming with the possibility of another 10! EEPS! So, this week is clean...clean...clean...clean....and then Friday will probably be chop and prepare! Then Saturday morning will be touch ups for me (because Jr will probably have to work in the morning). Oh and Boo will be getting pictures on Friday (note to self: call and make an appointment) and Pookie will be spending the night at Grandma and Papa's and then they will bring her back to the house for the party. So, I will get a little bit of a break before the chaos begins!

So..that's me...if you don't hear from me too much this week, assume I'm up to my neck in party preparations (gotta tell you that Oriental Trading Company and Birthday Express are lifesavers) or I'm lost at The Pixel Mall.
