My wedding dress was found at Hudson's in the Prom Dress section. Jr and I had to pay for our own wedding and this was the most I could afford. My friend, April, who was also one of my bridesmaids, did my hair and made my veil. She also made all the flowers and my unity candle. My wedding would not have happened had it not been for her.
Our cake came from the bakery of the grocery store of where Jr and I worked when we met. The color matched my dress perfectly! I would love to tell you what it tasted like, but I didn't get any until our first anniversary, but by then it was kind of dry and yucky! The decoration on top of the cake and next to the cake are Charming Tails statues. It's no secret that I love mice stuff and April found the cake topper for me and a good, good friend bought me the little statue as a gift, so they had to be there!
My garter was store bought, but April had to decorate it to fit me...there is a small mouse and a trap on it! I asked her which was supposed to be me and which was supposed to be Jr. She never did answer that question.
So, that is my wedding. It was not huge, but it was mine and it left me married to the most wonderful man in the world.
