Oh...this assignment really got me going. I seem to have so many pet peeves...I will try to narrow it down.
Know it alls! I am related to several of these people and it is soooo hard to have a conversation with them! You make a tiny little comment on something like "The sky is blue" and you get a four hour dissertation on WHY the sky is blue. *sigh*
Biggotry! I cannot understand how people cannot accept others for who they are or take the time to get to know them just because they are of a different color, religion, sexual perference! C'mon, people, it's who they are inside and underneath that is really important!
Bad drivers! I spend two hours a day in my car (at the very least) and I am so tired of people who drive too slow, drive too fast, cut other people off, forget to use their turn signals (even though even I am guilty of this from time to time). I almost think that drivers' training needs to be taught more than once!
Teasers! I hate people who live to tease...just to get your goat. My goat is easily gotten and my father and my husband are both teasers! They just love to see me get mad. After almost 30 years, my father is learning, but Jr. has a LONG ways to go!
There are many more, but I will be here for several days if I even get started on things like pet peeves in the work place.
